This supports the quads and glutes separately and provides compression to reduce muscle fatigue as well as a cooling effect. The core system stabilizes the short while accommodating the waist and hips for a comfortable fit that stays in place. The waist is held in place with gentle jacquard elastic. Leg Cuffs. The leg cuffs are 4.5cm in width and are constructed of soft woven elastic, which stays in place while remaining soft and non-restrictive. Rich Details. The short is richly finished with reflective striping at the back of each leg, Giordana rubber logo and the new Cirro chamois.

Finally, the Silverline has begun to receive trickle-down technology from FormaRed. For a fraction of the price, the Silverline utilizes compressive fabric technologies and Giordana’s Core Contour System. Giordana used its patented Moxie fabric for the much of the Silverline shorts construction. With a nylon/spandex composition weight of 200g/m2, the Silverlines take on an effective compressive nature. However, we wouldn’t go as far as to call these bib shorts a compression piece. Instead, while assisted blood circulation will help your anaerobic output, we find that Moxie’s most vital characteristics involve the inhibiting of muscle of oscillation from road vibration — a common component to early onset fatigue. And while this system used to be exclusive to FR-C, it’s trickled down to the Silverline series, only it forgoes the carbon fibers.

The Moda Tenax Pro jersey introduces a more relaxed fit compared to our FR-C Pro and Scatto Pro jerseys. Multiple fabrics are used including a microfiber polyester fabric on the torso of the jersey and at the back of the neck and lightweight Asteria 2.0 with 2% Spandex on the shoulders and sleeves, for an aerodynamic fit, that eliminates flapping or bunching in the riding position. A relaxed jersey should never be a sloppy or ill-fitting and the combination of these fabrics creates a perfect and comfortable fit for cyclists. The simple turned arm cuffs and front waistband provide a comfortable and soft fit and the rear elastic gripper keeps the jersey in place during hard efforts. Three rear cargo pockets, with pocket lip, are complimented by a fourth pocket on the left side of the jersey perfect for trash or small items. The jersey is finished off with a reflective tab on the left side for visibility.
